Fit: The durable and flexible deerskin will break in, so in my opinion getting your gloves a tad small with allow them to break in perfectly to the shape of your hand. The fit on the size chart seems to be representative of the seam location and so the outseam gloves are roomier than those with seam inside. If your hands are between sizes, order the smaller size in the Sumo R. If you, like me, have small hands that measure between the XS and XXS on the chart, these will be a bit roomy and the outseam edges are on the side of the fingers (as opposed to top) causes the gloves to feel clumsy if not snug to the finger. If you are measuring below the XS, these do not come in XXS so if you want an armored glove, consider the Sumo instead as the inner seam make for a better fit. My husband measures size S and my XS Sumo R's were a nice snug fit that he felt would break in, so consider up to a full size smaller in these outseam gloves.
Closure: The closure is meant to secure snug on the wrist. Small ladies like myself have trouble finding gear with sleeves the right length. The closure cannot extend around the jacket so you need to pull up the jacket sleeve (or secure the glove with your hand in the air to extend the sleeve) to secure the glove and the sleeve may push on the closure (or you can roll back the sleeve and the roomy gauntlet can easily cover). Alternatively, keep these beautiful gloves and get a jacket that fits you properly!

Ordered these gloves as a gift 8 days before the gift giving occasion. Paid extra for priority shipping even though my order qualified for free shipping. Lee Parks indicated 2 days for the service I paid for. Item was shipped promptly, but now 10 days later USPS still has not delivered. I have deducted 1 star due to the poor service of the delivery company (USPS) that LPD has chosen to partner with. And this is the organization that will deliver my vote in the upcoming election? No thanks.

The gloves are ok. Over priced for what they are. There is no foam impact protection in the palms. The gauntlets are way too big. I wore them ones to the grocery store and back and the seams started coming apart in multiple places. I sent them back for a refund and Lee Parks HAS NOT REFUNDED ME, answered their phones, or contacted me in anyway despite me leaving all my info nd following their return directions. You can find better stuff that actually looks cool and performs better for less than half the price on amazon. I will not be doing business with this company again bad service nd bad products. Nice leather was used tho and the outer seams are a good idea so it gets 2 stars.

These are absolutely the most comfortable gloves with the finest dexterity of any I've worn in 45 years of riding. They remind me of the Bates deer skin gloves I wore in the 90's, but an much improved version. Worth the price.

I have bought a lot of riding gloves during my 25 yrs of motorcycling experience. I must say that the Sumo gloves are the smoothest pairs I've ever bought and the fit is just perfect. I'm going to order the shorter version for summer riding.

1 glove was tighter than the other..........maybe my hands are different size. Worn for 2 days now ....they have stretched and fit like a glove !!!! Love them....expensive but worth it.

Purchased these a few months after seeing them on a fellow rider and they quickly become my go to gloves for every ride. Smooth, comfortable and flexible. With other gloves my fingers used to get fatigued from being wrapped around the throttle but not with these. Touchscreen option makes it a total package. Quality stuff. Keep up the good work guys.

A well deserved 5-Star rating. The SUMO R gloves offer a quality, comfort, and protection that I have yet to find with several of the major brands I tried. I purchase this model and both DeerSport models to accommodate different conditions. I bought the 3-pairs for a reason. All excellent well designed products. More importantly, the materials used in these gloves offer outstanding sense of touch & feedback critical to control and safety. I would highly recommend this product to my riding buddies.
